Position Title: Marketing Manager

Position Type: Exempt, Full Time

Location: Irwindale, California - Hybrid (travel less than 25% of work time)

Department: Marketing

Reports to: General Manager

Position Summary:

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing marketing campaigns that promote our company and its products. This role will be critical in enhancing our brand awareness within the digital space as well as driving website traffic and acquiring leads/customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of current marketing tools and strategies and be able to lead integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and lead the marketing team to ensure high performance and professional development.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive B2C and B2B marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer acquisition within targeted business sectors.
  • Sales Enablement: Collaborate with the sales team to create and refine sales materials, presentations, and tools that effectively communicate the value proposition to business clients.
  • Campaign Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of marketing campaigns across various channels including email, social media, TV, radio, podcast, SEO, SEM, and display advertising.
  • Budget Management: Allocate and manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring maximum ROI.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, using data to drive decision-making and strategy adjustments.
  • Brand Management: Ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning across all marketing channels.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as sales, product development, and customer service to align marketing efforts with overall business goals.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and customer insights to inform marketing strategies.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Regularly report on marketing activities, performance, and ROI to senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Innovation and Trend Adaptation: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices, continuously innovating and improving marketing efforts.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • In-depth knowledge of marketing principles, strategies, and tactics, including digital marketing, branding, and market research.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data, analyze market trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present and communicate marketing strategies and initiatives to various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in marketing software and tools, such as CRM systems, analytics platforms, email marketing software, and social media management tools.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving marketing objectives.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creativity and a keen eye for design and aesthetics, ensuring consistent brand messaging and visual identity.
  • A proactive and results-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and achieving measurable marketing outcomes.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus
  • Proven experience as a Marketing Manager or a similar role with a growing brand, with a track record of successful marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of marketing experience, with a strong focus on B2C e-commerce.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Manual Dexterity: Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.
  • Vision: Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Speaking and Hearing: Must be able to communicate clearly in person, over the phone, and in virtual meetings.
  • Mobility: Occasionally move about the office to access products and office equipment and attend meetings.
  • Standing and Walking: Must be able to stand and/or walk for 4+ hours at a time.
  • Travel: Occasional travel may be required for meetings, conferences, and events. Must be available to work outside normal work hours as needed for events and tradeshows
