Responsibilities
- Embody PCM ambitions: Contribute to PCM roadmap & overall PCM growth.
- Achieve PCM NBI objectives: Develop Payments and Cash Management Business with existing and prospect US clients (Fortune 500 clients) globally, locally for local affiliates of multinational entities (MNCs) and coverage of other Business Unit PCRU’s on an opportunistic basis, depending on the business case.
- Identify, analyze, sell, and support cash management solutions to established corporate customers and targeted prospective corporate clients in country and across the network.
- As Global Sales, be responsible from origination until full implementation of mandates.
- As Global Sales, ensure global Cash Management strategy for the Client Group is shared and implemented in coordination with the Local Sales.
- As Local Sales act in coordination with the Global Sales so that the strategy for the local client is fully aligned with the global one.
- Be responsible from the maintenance of Sales portfolio data quality and constant update of deals in the relevant CRM Tool (currently called IC).
- Build a robust franchise.
- Monitor client activity and payment flows to ensure revenues growth.
- Ensure compliance with local regulation and SG guidelines.
- Responsible for RFP responses; assess customer needs and recommend effective strategies.
- Negotiate pricing to optimize profitability of Cash Management solutions. Regular price reviews for respective clients.
- Solidify customer retention efforts by providing a superior level of customer service together with MO Teams and ICCS (if applicable).
- Work closely with the Relationship Coverage teams (GLBA and Global Sales) to ensure first class client treatment and define client strategy together. Have strategic advisory meetings/calls with the priority clients and prospects.
- Maintain seamless working relationships with main stakeholders, including but not limited to credit, compliance, legal.
- Prepare credit applications for credit facilities together with the colleagues of Mid Office/Credit Support within due timelines for the renewals.
- Share with colleagues, in-country and globally, your knowledge about the clients, their business plan and strategy as well as the relationship status/credit rating.
- Jointly between Global Sales Manager and Local Sales Managers define and follow-up on client opportunities.
- Monitor credit balance and overdraft position of your clients and take relevant actions to cover OD positions or reduce credit balances. Avoid unauthorized overdraft positions.
- Cooperate with the Mid Office team colleagues to ensure client compliance regarding sanctions screening, AML alerts, KYC Reviews, and all other regulatory requirements.
- Control and monitor risks taken by the bank on your client’s portfolio in line with LOD1 responsibility.
- Regular client visits and business travel is part of the role.
- Cross-selling: spot opportunities for other business lines like Trade and SGF and actively introduce these BLs to further saturate the client relationship.

DIVISION DESCRIPTION:
Global Transaction Banking and Payment Services (GTPS) Americas is composed of three Business Lines: USD Cash Clearing Services, Payment and Cash Management Services and Trade Finance Services. GTPS provides corporate clients, financial institutions, Societe Generale entities and business lines with a wide range of payment products and services such as USD payments, corporate cash management services, check services, foreign exchange conversions and standby letter of guarantees.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Must Have:
- BA or Master’s degree
- Strong sales capabilities (Deal hunter and business developer, deal maker)
- Very good understanding of Payments and Cash Management products with proven track record of Landmark deal execution
- Must have a can-do attitude.
- Ability to cooperate with Client Relationship Managers (Coverage Bankers) Business Lines and Corporate & Treasury Functions.
- Pro-active team player
- Excellent communication and writing skills for pitching (English as first language), other languages could be useful for this position.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills (be able to have an analytical mind to propose effective solutions)
- Highly motivated, fully aware of the challenge.
- Solid experience in dealing with US and MNCs from various industries.
- Ability to design tailormade solutions.
- Demonstrate out of the box thinking.
