Job Summary

The Customer Relationship Specialist is guest and client-focused, high-performing individual driven to deliver exceptional service through high profile tour experiences and spearheading customer relationships and awareness to build overall campus participation and utilization in all lines of business.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Customer Relationships & Outreach
    • Develop relationships with customers and clients, maintaining high visibility in the Microsoft community.
    • Partners with District Managers, Marketing Managers and Corporate Customer Insights Team to define and drive customer advocacy/research strategies.
    • Spearhead customer outreach and research initiatives, including focus groups, surveys, interviews, tastings/events, etc.
    • Event support as needed to support key events for observation of customer engagement and feedback.
  • Customer Service Program Management
    • Manage responses to inquiries that come in via aliases, survey and Viva Engage.
    • Oversee monthly reporting summary feedback partnering with Customer Service Team.
  • Tour Facilitation and Management
    • Schedule, plan and manage all client and internal Compass Group tours and respective space reservations.
    • Develop and manage all tour intake requests and work with Line of Business leaders to select the best dates that work for team.
    • Build and manage tour calendar to ensure optimal timing of tours
    • Lead tours to highlight the different areas and/or engage different dept leads to lead tours providing key talking points of what to cover.
    • Maintain facility appearance and functionality partnering with our Operations Team.
    • Coordinate catering and sampling for tours and events (as needed)
    • Manage the tour budget, invoicing and payment reconciliation.
    • Coordinate support with external vendors to support tours.
    • Manage all logistical communication to respective stakeholders
    • Track, calculate, and maintain team documentation and metrics
Qualifications:
  • College degree or equivalent experience.
  • Ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience of event experience, planning and coordinating high profile/executive level tours/events.
  • Strong presentation skills presence to host and engage with executive level attendees.
  • Strong relationship building skills to engage with customers and clients.
  • Experience with ppt presentations for agenda planning and monthly reporting.
  • Familiarity with reporting tools to create Customer Service monthly reporting reports.
  • Experience working with designers/design teams in creating marketing collateral and knowledge of productions process.
  • Hospitality experience preferred.
  • Ability to speak, read and write English at an advanced level for effective communication in e-mail, written documents and customer interaction.
  • Superior organizational and interpersonal skills.

  • Competent in relative Microsoft applications - Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook
  • Familiarity with web-based reservation systems preferred
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Able to travel overnight as needed.
