Salary: 175-250k Plus commision structure

We are currently seeking an experienced and driven Director of Sales to lead and motivate our sales team, develop effective sales strategies, and optimize sales funnels to achieve our business goals.

Position Overview:
As the Director of Sales , you will play a critical leadership role, overseeing a team of 5-10 sales professionals. Your primary responsibility will be to drive sales performance, create effective strategies, and ensure that the team consistently meets or exceeds sales targets. This is a high-impact role for someone with a proven track record in leading and managing sales teams in the construction industry. You will lead by example, motivate your team, and foster a culture of accountability, growth, and success.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the construction or related industries, with demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing sales teams. You will be responsible for both strategy development and hands-on management, ensuring that the team is aligned with company goals and is continuously improving performance. Your ability to create and execute sales strategies, analyze trends, and build strong client relationships will be key to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Leadership:

    • Lead, manage, and hold the sales team accountable under the LMA-EOS framework (Lead, Manage, Accountability).
    • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve the company’s sales targets and goals.
    • Motivate, mentor, and manage a team of 5-10 sales professionals, ensuring high performance and continuous development.
  • Performance Management:

    • Set and monitor sales targets, ensuring team objectives are consistently met or exceeded.
    • Analyze sales data, market trends, and industry conditions to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
    • Provide regular performance feedback and conduct coaching sessions to enhance the sales team’s skills and knowledge.
  • Client & Stakeholder Relationships:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders within the construction industry.
    • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns that support sales efforts.
    • Attend and lead closeout meetings to ensure client satisfaction and strengthen long-term partnerships.
  • Sales Operations & Process Optimization:

    • Oversee lead management, sales funnels, and optimize processes to improve conversion rates and sales efficiency.
    • Manage sales compensation structures and contracts, ensuring alignment with company goals and market competitiveness.
    • Research and identify opportunities for cross-selling additional products and services to expand the business.
  • Reporting & Forecasting:

    • Prepare detailed sales reports, forecasts, and market analyses for senior management.
    • Address and resolve any customer issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Sales Culture & Team Development:

    • Foster a high-energy, collaborative sales culture that aligns with the company’s core values.
    • Conduct regular sales meetings, training sessions, and workshops to build team skills, boost morale, and drive results.

  • Proficiency in sales reporting, forecasting, and CRM tools.
