Red Ball Oxygen Co., Inc. is a privately owned distributor of Industrial, Specialty, and Medical Gases, welding and industrial equipment, and safety supplies. We have 22 retail operations in Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas and Oklahoma with packaged gas production capabilities in Shreveport, LA, Dallas/Fort Worth, TX, Houston, TX, and Geismar, LA. We are looking for a dynamic, safety conscious Branch Manager for our Lafayette, LA branch.
A Branch Manager at Red Ball Oxygen manages the branch location and activities including product distribution, warehousing, customer service, and sales. They ensure management results meet or exceed profit margin and other established incumbent Red Ball Oxygen goals and objectives. The branch manager will oversee efficient routing and delivery of customer products according to location, need, and urgency.
Responsibilities include:
- Monitor and ensure completion of periodic vehicle maintenance.
- Oversee general building and grounds maintenance completion.
- Maintain accurate and required cylinder and hard good inventory.
- Coordinate customer cylinder audits; resolve usage problems or discrepancies through effective negotiating and customer communications.
- Effectively communicate verbally or in writing with internal Red Ball Oxygen staff, customers, safety compliance officials, and other diverse outside parties.
- Manage goals, delegate responsibilities, monitor progress and work objectives, and provide feedback.
- Define problems, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and resolve branch problems.
