Job Requirements / Description
Seeking an organized, creative grant writer with a knack for community engagement and fundraising. The individual will have Bachelor's degree, preferably in nonprofit administration, management or related, and at least one year of experience in working for a nonprofit. This individual will collaborate with the grant manager to execute the grant making and reporting process. They will also oversee agency tours and grantor site visits, assist with fundraising events, coordinate volunteer service projects and represent the organization at grantor events/meetings. Position Highlights
  1. Develop and foster relationships with institutional funders: find personal connections with staff, board, volunteers, donors that will ensure the attention of institutional funders.
  2. Support existing grants/proposals by: tracking grants/proposals; developing internal reporting systems; writing reports; maintaining excellent historical records; working with staff to ensure each project or program is meeting proposal conditions and expectations.
  3. Arrange for tours on site; make appointments for President, VP of Advancement, Program Deputy Directors, and others with potential funders.
  4. Support with fundraising projects including annual special events.
  5. Represent the organization at grantor events/meetings.
  6. Work on other Adhoc projects as assigned by the Director of Resource Development.
