Part Time Cook

Summary: The Part Time Cook is responsible for preparing and serving meals for the dietary department in compliance with standards and procedures. This position requires maintaining a clean and safe work environment, supervising food service areas, and ensuring resident's dietary needs are met.

• Assist in food preparation and serving within scheduled time frames
• Clean and maintain food service areas
• Manage inventory control
• Supervise servers in the absence of the Culinary Service Director
• Ensure compliance with resident's diets
• Report any issues to the Culinary Service Director
• Follow safety procedures
• Effective communication with supervisors and staff

Requirements:

• Serve Safe Certification Required
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in food preparation
• Experience in dealing with seniors and their dietary needs
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
