Project Manager
The Project Manager will oversee and manage all on-site activities at the Air National Guard Readiness Center, interfacing directly with government staff and ensuring efficient execution of real property projects. The role includes managing contractor staff, quality assurance, strategic planning, and risk mitigation related to real estate processes and procedures.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Estimated Starting Salary Range for Project Manager : $110,000 to $135,000
- Pay commensurate with experience.

Project Manager Responsibilities Include:
- Serve as the on-site Project Manager at the Air National Guard Readiness Center, interfacing with government staff to ensure project goals are met.
- Disseminate work requirements, manage project deliverables, and supervise contractor staff as necessary.
- Perform Quality Assurance Reviews on all contract deliverables to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Participate in contract-related meetings and provide input on project progress and deliverables.
- Assist in strategic planning to improve efficiencies in real property processes and procedures.
- Develop risk mitigation strategies for ongoing or anticipated challenges.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Project Manager Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
- 10 years of experience in commercial, business, or industrial property management.
- Extensive experience in the acquisition or sale of real property, real property evaluation and valuation, establishing rental rates, selecting tenants, and maintaining real property.
- Government Real Estate/Real Property experience, including knowledge of Real Estate/Real Property Government forms.
- Expertise in interpreting Air Force real estate processes and adapting them to meet the ANG’s real estate goals and objectives.
- Knowledge of various real estate instruments to coordinate with Government Realty Specialists on tools, amendments, renewals, and disposal applications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Teams, OneDrive, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and NexGen IT.
- Experience in data validation and transcription.
- Technical writing experience, including writing memoranda, Background Bullet Papers (BBPs), and white papers.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to travel to various Air Force bases (CONUS & OCONUS).
- Ability to effectively manage staff and liaise with government officials.
- Proven experience in project management and contract oversight.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to real property management.
- This position may offer telework opportunities, subject to organizational needs and approval. Candidates should be prepared to work both remotely and onsite, as required.
- Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
