Facility Coordinator

Rist-Frost-Shumway Engineering, P.C. (RFS), a growing 100+ person professional consulting engineering firm with offices in Laconia, NH, Boston, MA, and Portland, ME is seeking to fill the position of Facility Coordinator for our Laconia office. Hiring for an immediate need within our corporate office.

The position will provide hourly pay with Monday through Friday hours expected at eight hours per day, 40-hours per week, except during holiday weeks. Workday hours will be flexible/negotiated with the successful candidate, to align with position duties/responsibilities.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  1. Performs regular office custodial work to provide a clean, safe, and functional environment.
  2. Ensures office equipment is in proper working order and available for use. Coordinates with outside service vendors as required.
  3. Maintains/cleans fleet vehicles available for employee business use and ensures proper working order. Coordinates with outside service vendors as required.
  4. Performs ordering and receiving/stocking office supplies.
  5. Coordinates shipping/receiving w/ USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.
  6. Performs occasional courier service, typically within a 100-mile radius of Laconia.
  7. Performs light building maintenance as agreed and assists to coordinate with outside contractors.
  8. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Skill Requirements:

  1. Ability to perform all duties/responsibilities.
  2. Detail oriented, with strong organizational and communication skills.
  3. Basic computer proficiency, ideally including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.
  4. Strong work ethic.

  1. Valid NH Driver’s License.
  2. Ability to perform physical tasks including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs and ladders. Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
