General Manager

El Encanto Mexican Restaurants is actively seeking an intuitive and ambitious full-time General Manager to manage all front-of-house operations at our restaurant in Cave Creek. This hospitality manager position earns a competitive salary of $70,000 to $75,000/year , plus a generous bonus package, all dependent on prior management experience. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF GENERAL MANAGER

As a General Manager, you are vital for the successful operations of our restaurant. Your excellent leadership qualities teach and uphold our core values and ensure that the staff prepares amazing food and provides exceptional service. With strong communication skills, you promote a happy environment for the staff and provide a welcoming environment for our guests. You also efficiently handle cash and receipts while performing other financial activities, such as deposit preparation and payroll.


GENERAL MANAGER QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred, but not essential
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in restaurant management
  • Basic computer knowledge about Aloha or similar POS systems
  • Strong interpersonal communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, such as standing and walking for long periods, bending and twisting, and lifting up to 40 pounds

GENERAL MANAGER WORK SCHEDULE

Your schedule as a hospitality manager varies, but typically is a 5 day/45-50 hours per week. We are open Monday through Sunday, normally 11 a.m. to 9 or 10 p.m. Your flexibility supplies excellent customer service and management during the week and on nights and weekends.
