Acquisition Analyst IV / Program Manager – Edgewood, MDXcelerate Solutions is seeking a senior Program Manager and Acquisition Analyst to support the Joint Program Executive Office (JPEO) for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Defense (CBRND). In this role, you will provide acquisition, business, and logistics expertise to aid the Government in the oversight and management of CBRND programs under the purview of the JPEO-CBRND in addition to providing oversight and management of the geographically dispersed operational team and the various requiring offices, including the HQ, JPEO-CBRND and subordinate elements such as the Chief of Operations, Chief Information Officer, Foreign Military Sales, and Advanced and Emerging Threat Defense teams.Location: Edgewood, MD; on-siteClearance: Top Secret w/ SCI eligibilityResponsibilities:Work within managerial systems, funding processes, and other activities to promote program progression and successMaintain awareness of organizational program execution and milestones, as well as their strategic impactsWork at senior DoD levels to stimulate customer alliance for portfolio, program, and project supportAssist in developing and executing trade-off analyses to support optimization of capabilitiesProvide technical acquisition strategy support to leadershipWork with disparate functional groups and team members to understand, analyze, execute, and communicate solutions to overcome challenges and mitigate cost, schedule, and performance risksMonitor project schedules to ensure proper resources and risks are recognized and mitigatedDraft, review, staff, file, and update a variety of documentsDevelop/deliver senior-level presentations and briefingsOversee / lead / direct team of approximately 15-20 CBRN-knowledgeable staff in execution of program effortsMinimum Requirements:Required: Bachelor’s degreeRequired: 10+ years’ aggregate experienceRequired: 6+ years’ DoD Acquisitions related experienceRequired: Possess extensive working knowledge of Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) operationsRequired: Demonstrated experience/knowledge/relationships with and of the Assistant Secretary of the Army Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology (ASA(ALT)), Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Nuclear, Chemical, and Biological (OASD NCB) , Joint Requirements Office (JRO) , and Deputy Under Secretary of the Army for Test and Evaluation ( DUSA T&E ) organizational structures and relationshipsDesired: Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Program Management (Advanced) CertificationDesired: Masters of Business Administration (MBA)About Xcelerate Solutions Founded in 2009 and headquartered in McLean, VA, Xcelerate Solutions ( is one of America's fastest-growing companies.
