About the Role: As a vital part of our Packaging & Labeling Acquisition team, you'll play a crucial role in supporting product integration. Your responsibilities will include evaluating, reviewing, documenting, testing, and enhancing packaging designs for unified transfer. Drawing on your engineering expertise, you'll contribute to product design, team planning, strategy, enhancements, and quality standards. Your Responsibilities will Include: Initiates and completes technical activities leading to new or improved products or process, for current programs next generation programs and to meet strategic goals and objectives of the company. Prepares reports, publishes, and makes presentations to communicate findings. Analyzes and solves problems from basic engineering principles, theories and concepts through to a wide range of complex and advanced problems which require novel and new innovative approaches or a major breakthrough in technology. Understands engineering principles theories, concepts, practices and techniques. Develops knowledge in a field to become a recognized leader or authority in an area of specialization and applies this knowledge in leadership roles in the company. Incorporates business policies and procedures into task completion. Understands the business needs of the company, and has a thorough knowledge of the customer and clinical needs of our business. Understands the business cycle and foresight of emerging technologies trends. Cultivates internal and external network of resources to complete tasks. Serves has a resource in the selection orientation and training of new engineers and employees. May lead a project team, determining goals and objectives for the projects. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Materials, Electromechanical, Industrial Maintenance, Chemical, or Industrial with 3-5 years of relevant work experience. Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with individuals at all organizational levels. Technical Competencies: Ability to work independently to plan, schedule, and execute activities to meet project deadlines. Understanding of quality system controls, such as design inputs/outputs, verification/validation, process validation, etc. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in acquisition for Manufacturing and/or Distribution Integration. Familiarity with business software systems related to Manufacturing, their interactions, and requirements (e.g., PLM, BMRAM, MES, SAP, GLS, Bartender). Demonstrated ability to provide effective mentorship during times of change, particularly in supporting acquired entities through the integration process. Exceptional organizational and results-oriented skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize competing tasks. Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities. Demonstrated high degree of integrity, professionalism, and the ability to establish credibility. Intermediate knowledge related to paperboard, corrugated, flexible packaging films, Tyvek, thermoformed trays, injection molded parts, and packaging equipment.
