Be a Vice President of Finance and a key member of the executive leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO for a rapidly growing healthcare company.

This role will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of the company, focusing on optimizing financial performance, driving operational efficiencies, and ensuring the achievement of key financial metrics.
The VP of Finance will collaborate closely with operations and clinical teams to connect business outcomes with financial performance, particularly around revenue cycle management (RCM), ensuring accurate forecasting, cost control, and overall financial health.
The VP of Finance will be expected to drive operational excellence by developing and maintaining financial processes that align with business objectives and growth strategies.

What you will do:
Financial Operations & Execution:
  • Lead day-to-day financial operations including accounting, financial reporting, payroll, and cash flow management.
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring financial targets are met and financial reports are accurate and timely.
  • Drive financial KPIs, metrics, and ensure alignment with operational targets.
  • Collaborate with operations to ensure that financial data aligns with business objectives and patient outcomes.
  • Monitor expense optimization strategies, focusing on improving margins and cost controls across departments.
Revenue Cycle Management (RCM):
  • Ensure efficient RCM processes to maximize revenue collection and ensure accurate billing, coding, and collections procedures.
  • Connect patient volume with revenue, ensuring the company is optimizing collections and reducing days sales outstanding (DSO).
  • Work closely with operations to identify and address any gaps in the RCM process and improve overall cash flow.
Operational Collaboration & Alignment:
  • Partner with the CEO & Operational leadership to develop financial processes that enhance the efficiency of clinical and operational workflows.
  • Analyze and interpret financial data to provide actionable insights to the leadership team, particularly around key performance indicators (KPIs) and business growth metrics.
  • Collaborate on financial modeling for patient services, ensuring alignment between patient care delivery and financial targets.
Financial Reporting & Compliance:
  • Lead financial reporting processes and ensure all regulatory, tax, and audit requirements are met.
  • Develop and maintain internal financial controls, ensuring compliance with GAAP and all federal, state, and local regulatory laws.
  • Ensure accurate and transparent financial reporting to the executive team and Board of Directors.
Financial Planning & Forecasting:
  • Work with the CEO and leadership team on the development of financial plans and forecasts that support the overall business strategy.
  • Provide ongoing analysis of financial results, variance explanations, and recommendations for improvement to ensure profitability.
  • Support business decisions by providing detailed financial analysis and financial modeling.
What you will bring to the team:
Experience:
  • 8+ years of experience in financial management, preferably within healthcare services or a distributed labor force.
  • Strong experience in financial operations, particularly with revenue cycle management (RCM), cost control, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Demonstrated ability to work closely with operations to develop metrics, KPIs, and drive business outcomes.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred.
  • CPA or MBA required.
Skills:
  • Strong financial analysis, financial reporting, and forecasting capabilities.
  • Expertise in managing and optimizing RCM processes and workflows.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with operations and clinical teams to align financial objectives with business operations.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience leading and developing a finance team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
