Job Description
The Sales Growth Leader is responsible for driving sales in our organization and takes ownership of the sales team results while managing and developing a team culture focused on increasing our value to our customers and partners. This leader is constantly improving our systems, techniques and feedback to support and develop our sale professionals to deliver results and provide industry leading value and expertise. The Sales Growth Leader will provide consistent feedback regarding individual and team performance while exhibiting the company’s core values.
Essential functions

- Analyzes information to identify new markets and customers, demand for products and services, and develops strategies for growth.
- Conducts sales forecasting, and strategic planning to assess and ensure the sales and profitability of products.
- Completed pricing research and analysis to ensure competitive product pricing.
- Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in the market; identifies needs for new products and services and makes recommendations to leadership.
- Collaborates in the development of new products.
- Unites with marketing team to ensure successful campaigns and activities.
- Sets individual targets for each team member and provides regular coaching and feedback regarding progress.
- Maintains sales volume, product mix and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
- Oversee, monitor, and analyze activities and performance of the sales team both individually and as a group with respect to corporate sales objectives and budget.
- Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
- Reviews and analyzes sales and operational records and reports; uses data to project sales, determine profitability and targets, and identify potential new markets to achieve budget expectations.
- Consults with potential customers to understand their needs; identify and suggests equipment, products, or services that will meet those needs contributing to overall revenue generation.
- Develop client relationships and communication leading to customer retention.

Management of R.W. Martin equipment sales specialists.
Work environment
This position primarily is completed in an office environment with some exposure to industrial environments. The use of PPE is required when working/visiting industrial environments.

May be required to sit for extended periods of time while demonstrating manual dexterity to accurately work on the telephone, computer keyboard, and other equipment. Must be able to lift and carry 30 pounds in the form of boxes of supplies or product components.
Ability to operate a motor vehicle is required.
Travel required
Must be able and willing to travel away from home overnight when necessary.
Attendance at trade conventions, business meetings, conferences as well as social functions as a team representative.
Must possess a valid motor vehicle operator’s license and maintain to the Company’s sole satisfaction an insurable motor vehicle operating status.
Required education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Business Administration, Marketing or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Comparable record of sales and marketing leadership experience required.
- At least five years of sales experience required.
