Contractor - Recruiter

The Contractor - Recruiter provides support for the Human Resources team in all phases of the recruitment cycle to ensure PJM attracts and hires the best talent including:

• Updating Workday with new job requisitions
• Sourcing candidates
• Thoroughly reviewing applicant resumes and cover letters for desired experience and skills for PJM’s open positions
• Conducting initial phone interviews to assess motivations, availability, and communication skills
• Documenting interview feedback in Workday
• Managing a high volume of applicants
• Scheduling candidate meetings and interviews and coordinating travel arrangements
• Filing interview guides & documents
• Marketing PJM’s open positions on social media using LinkedIn, Facebook, Handshake, Indeed, Monster, CareerBuilder & other industry related job boards
• Supporting management with writing and reviewing position descriptions
• Maintaining the position description database by creating job codes & synching up Workday with JDExpert
• Creating interview guides
• Responding to general staffing telephone inquiries from prospective and current employees
• Creating postings, ensuring that all positions are posted and removed from the internal and external websites; notifying employees of internal postings
• Sending “all clear” to initiate the employment onboarding process with the Accounts Authorization Group and Security Teams
• Tracking correspondence, schedules, and other crucial data on candidates
• Ensuring Workday is maintained with accurate information
• Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of potential candidates
• Working closely with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and candidate profiles
• Support immigration processing

Required:

• Associates Degree in HR or equivalent work experience
• At least 2 years of experience with HR Recruitment
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
