Job Title : Strategic Account Manager

Location : Chicago, IL

Job Summary : Strategic Account Managers are responsible for responding to and managing inquiries, complaints, and feedback from customer accounts. This role may include providing support through various channels such as in person, phone, email, or social media. They must communicate effectively, understand customer needs, and provide solutions or information promptly. Additionally, they may need to collect and record customer data, maintaining accurate records of interactions. The role requires problem-solving skills, patience, empathy, and the ability to work under pressure. The focus is on building and maintaining positive relationships with customers, providing quality service that meets or exceeds their expectations.

Compensation : $95,000-$105,000/year Starting Wages + Monthly Incentive Plan (Pay Bi-Weekly)

A final amount is dependent on factors including prior relevant experience, knowledge, and location. Typically, selected candidates are hired at a rate between the minimum and midpoint of the range. Day in the Job Preview : As a Strategic Account Manager, your day involves driving customer account performance through strategic engagement, developing account plans, managing budgets, and leading cross-functional teams to meet business performance measures.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities :

  • Directly responsible for driving customer account performance against plan, including customer KPIs, top-line sales, profit, pricing strategies, and new service sales.
  • Establish business relationships across all levels of the customer's organization, aligning with our own enterprise employees from account coordinators to key executives.
  • Lead strategic engagement with key customers for feedback on customer service, project management, communication, and operational performance.
  • Develop and deploy strategic account plans, host business reviews, and manage account budgets.
  • Establish business performance measures; lead cross-functional teams in executing priorities and provide direction for modifying work plans or implementing contingency plans as business conditions change.

Job Requirements :

  • Successful completion of a CRST background check and drug screen is required.
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Associates degree preferred.
