Legrand has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Coordinator to join the Data Center Power & Control Division ZPE Systems and be part of a global agile team in Fremont, CA. The Operations Coordinator is responsible for order fulfillment, product configuration and warehouse maintenance in our Fremont California office. This position is an excellent fit for someone with a varied skill set who is willing to learn on the job, can work independently as well as in group settings. The successful applicant will be responsible for receiving order requests and shipping them on time to meets customer’s request
What Will You Do?
Order Fulfillment:
Receive and process purchase orders from the customers.
Understanding of inventory management to fulfill orders, and prioritize order fulfillment based on urgency and or transaction type
Provide order status to the sales team as well as the customers
Strong written and verbal communications including the ability to document test plans, test results and defects.
Logistics Coordination:
Track shipments sent to customs, partners, etc.
Manage inventory in our ERP systems
Update data in our CRM and ERP systems every week
Understanding of the sales cycle from quote to invoicing
Drop off shipments if required to meet delivery dates
Product Configuration (taught on the job):
Some technical skill is preferred, and comfortable with tools
Understanding of ZPE core products after 3-5 months on the job
Willingness to learn ZPE specific technical support before fulfilling orders
Understanding unit configuration and updating units as required
Warehouse management:
Able to lift 20-40 lbs. comfortably.
Know how to strap and wrap units in a pallet.
Provide dimensions to logistics company for shipping.
Manage domestic and international shipments.
Standard warehouse maintenance and upkeep.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
Office tasks (20%), warehouse tasks (40%), unit configurations (40%)
High degree of organization and attentiveness to detail.
Associate Level position requires understanding of sales cycle.
Comfortable using or learning online web applications such as Microsoft Office, Google Docs, CRM and ERP.
Must be able to lift 20-40 lbs. boxes.
Move pallets around the warehouse and stage orders for shipping.
Able to use power tools comfortably and efficiently
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Conducts oneself in a professional manner.
Excellent and professional oral and written communication skills.
Pay: $31.00/hourly
