ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Create a diverse array of meticulously handcrafted cocktails, mocktails, and other specialty beverages using top-notch ingredients, techniques, and garnishes. Continuously introduce fresh and captivating drink concoctions.
  2. Provide exemplary customer service by warmly greeting guests, engaging in friendly and professional conversations, and understanding their preferences. Offer recommendations based on their tastes, ensuring a personalized and delightful experience.
  3. Efficiently and accurately take drink orders, prepare them promptly, and serve beverages with keen attention to detail and presentation. Ensure all orders align with company standards and meet specific customer requests.
  4. Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of both classic and contemporary mixology, encompassing various spirits, liqueurs, bitters, and other ingredients. Stay updated on emerging industry trends and new techniques.
  5. Maintain a clean and well-organized bar area, ensuring that all glassware, utensils, and bar tools are sanitized and readily available. Adhere to safety and hygiene protocols, including proper ingredient handling and storage.
  6. Possess certification in safe alcohol service training.
  7. Collaborate closely with fellow team members, such as servers, kitchen staff, and management, to ensure smooth operations and a seamless customer experience. Provide support during peak business hours and assist in other areas of the establishment as necessary.
  8. Accurately process customer payments, handle cash responsibly, and maintain a secure cash register. Keep records of sales, tips, and inventory to facilitate effective management and financial transparency.
  9. Attendance: reports to work as scheduled, on time, and ready to work. Wears and maintains all uniforms properly, including nametag.
  10. Provides quality customer service by answering questions to encourage guests to purchase bar and restaurant services.
  11. Monitors guests for intoxication. If applicable, discontinue alcohol sales and inform security and immediate supervisor. Alerts supervisor and security regarding guests who may be difficult or possibly violent.
  12. Develops, maintains, and enhances positive relations with all guests and employees.
  13. Performs all duties in compliance with safety standards, health standards, the Colorado Limited Gaming Act, and internal policies and procedures.
  14. Alerts supervisor of any concerns regarding the quality, selection, and variety of all beverages, food, and equipment.
  15. Performs other duties, including special projects, as needed and directed.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age. Demonstrated bartending experience in a reputable establishment. Strong customer service skills, enabling effective interaction and connection with patrons. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, maintaining attention to detail, prioritizing tasks, and delivering exceptional service even under pressure. Willingness to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required in the hospitality industry.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years of recent experience bartending in a reputable establishment, showcasing proficiency in creating a wide variety of cocktails and beverages.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Excellent verbal communication skills to interact with customers, take orders, and collaborate effectively with colleagues using English.
REASONING ABILITY: Decisions are limited to within the scope of essential duties.
OTHER SKILLS/ABILITIES: In-depth knowledge of mixology, encompassing a comprehensive understanding of various spirits, ingredients, and techniques.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Essential duties involve performing physical exertion such as frequent brisk walking, climbing stairs, stooping, bending, stretching, reaching, pushing, kneeling, squatting, crouching, and standing for an entire work shift with standard breaks. Essential duties involve working in a small, confined area with floors that may become slippery in the process of preparing beverages. Essential duties require lifting trays, which may contain food and/or drinks, and lifting up to 50 pounds to stack, store, or move kitchen, restaurant, or general office supplies and equipment. Essential duties involve a flexible workweek with additional hours routinely required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Essential duties involve bartending in a restaurant environment, which contains large numbers of people, and frequently has loud and high levels of noise.
MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED: Equipment typical of a bar and restaurant, including but not limited to: cash registers, slicers, mixers, blenders, refrigerators, knives, spoons, forks, glasses, plates, pitchers, and various cleaning supplies and materials.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
$16.00+ hour based on experience plus gratuities
