You will drive andfacilitatecultural and organizational development initiatives that foster a positive and high-performance culture including employee engagement. You will be responsible to the Head ofSitefor the effective and efficientutilizationofthe workforcefor the Company. You will partner with the Head of the Site and the senior leadership team to deliver thought leadershipregardingorganizational and people-related strategies and execution as well as to provide insightful data to guide decision-making and proactive solutions.The ideal candidate has a demonstratedtrack recordof successfully managing end to end People & Culture practices across talent acquisition, performance management, human resource management, workforce planning, communications, and external relations, The successful candidate will have experience effectively coaching, guiding, and influencing leadership to drive a dynamic, inclusive culture and environment of the company. Ideally, the candidate has experience bothfromworking inaramp-upenvironment, but alsofromworking in a large global matrix organized company, to be able to navigate in both complexities.Job ResponsibilitiesLeads the following People and Culture disciplines:Talent AcquisitionResponsible forpartnering with the Global Talent Acquisition team to createand executerecruitment strategies to meet our growth targets by sourcing and recruiting the right people, at the right level, at the right time.Human ResourcesResponsible for overseeing the following areas: Onboarding, Day2Day HR activities, Talent Reviews, Succession Planning, Investigations, Disciplinary Processes, Offboarding, Leadership Training and Soft Skill Training, Engagement Activities, and ComplianceInternal Communications and External RelationsResponsible for partnering with FDBs communications team to create and deliver thoughtful internal employee communications.Responsible for creating and driving external employment related relationships and networks across the local community by strategically partnering with the right people and organizations such as: Colleges, Universities, Chamber of Commerce, Technical Forums and Associations, etc.Organizational DesignResponsible for leading organizational changes, design and coaching for leaders at senior level at high pace daily.Strategic Business PartnerResponsible for providing ongoing coaching, feedback, guidance, and support to the Senior Leadership Team as they navigate building a strong people-first culture.Design and Implement ProcessesResponsible for partnering with theGlobalFDB People and Culture Team to deliver compliant policies, processes, and procedures that are aligned with bothglobal and siteinitiativesfor the localorganization.For example, performance and salary reviews, workforce planning, recruitment, communications, and organizational change.Be the Champion for Building the Site’s CultureResponsible for partnering with the SLT to build the site’s culture, engagement, and overall day to day employee experience.Manage Global Collaborations, Stakeholders, and PartnershipsMust be able to navigate in a large global matrix organization and have experience working in largePnC/ HR functions with elements of centralization and localization and across diverse cultures.Ensures ComplianceResponsible for keeping abreast of applicable federal, state, and local laws and trends to mitigate company liability and risks.Manages Assigned P&L BudgetResponsible for creating andmaintainingthe site’s annual People and Culture budget with an eye towardoptimizingcost while balancing risk and building culture.Requirements and QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent work experience15+ years HR experience, of those years, 5+ must be at a senior leadershiplevelExperience working in larger global organization with centralizedfunctionsExperienceleadingorganizational design and changemanagementExperience designing and implementingprocessesExperience managing budgettargetsExperience collaborating withexecutivesProven ability to create followership, build trust-based, collaborative, sustainable relationships with executives, managers, andemployeesMust be able to seamlessly flow between working both tactically andstrategicallyMust have experience in navigatingNorth Carolinaand US-based employment laws and regulations.Travel as needed (approximately 10%)Experience working within the Life Science CommunitypreferredReporting RelationshipsThis position will report directly to theHead of the Site dotted line to the GlobalFDB Chief People OfficerThis position will lead 3-5 directreportsWorker CategoryOn-Site– at ourResearch Triangle Park, NC siteSalary and BenefitsMedical, Dental and VisionLife Insurance401kPaid Time OffFDBU works with technical data, technology and materials that are subject to U.S. export laws and regulations.
