Job Overview:
We are seeking a curious and data-driven Investment Associate to join our team. As one of the early members of our team, you will play a key part in helping to shape our investment process and have a high impact with our portfolio companies. Reporting to our COO and Managing Partner, you will build relationships with cohort companies and help C10 evaluate potential investments for our portfolio. You will help with due diligence, defining investment criteria, and understand market trends to ensure we remain competitive in the market. This is a unique opportunity for a self starting professional to be at the forefront of the AI startup ecosystem, working on exciting and transformative projects with our team.
What you will do:

• Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, competitive landscapes, and potential niches where AI start-ups can thrive
• Analyze and assess the viability and growth potential of target companies.
• Develop and maintain detailed financial models to assess investment opportunities and potential returns
• Compile advisory reports and make informed recommendations to the managing partners on where to invest and opportunities to diversify our portfolio
• Analyze and interpret financial statements, projections, and valuation metrics
• Monitor and support existing portfolio companies, working closely with founders and management teams and providing ongoing analysis of the portfolio company performance.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with entrepreneurs, industry professionals, and other stakeholders through attending industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand the firm's network.

Who you are:

• 4+ years experience at an investment banking, private equity, venture capital firm
• Passionate about impact-driven innovation and helping companies/ entrepreneurs grow from ideation to IPO
• Expertise building financial models and leading financial analysis independently
• Strong verbal and interpersonal skills, comfortable representing C10 Labs to a variety of senior-level executives
• Strong organizational skills, with an ability to multitask in an unstructured, small team environment maintaining a high attention to detail
• Experience managing transaction due diligence and legal documentation
• Intellectual curiosity about investing in the AI space and the tech industry overall
• Highly proficient with Excel, Powerpoint, and other relevant tools
