The Opportunity

The Talent Acquisition Partner will oversee the recruitment, interviewing, and hiring processes, with a primary focus on a high-volume recruiting distribution/fulfillment center. Additionally, this role may involve providing full-cycle recruiting support at multiple sites. You will be a strategic partner, managing important partnerships and providing guidance to hiring managers, staffing, training, and People team members on recruiting matters to ensure policy application in compliance with legal requirements and Qurate Retail Group practices. You will report to the Senior Talent Acquisition Manager and will require on-site presence. The role also includes leadership responsibilities for providing guidance and professional development to team members.

Our Talent Acquisition team creates recruiting plans based on hiring needs to improve outcomes by identifying and securing the most suitable talent for the right positions. This involves optimizing the talent pipeline, reviewing recruitment marketing plans, and adapting to quick changes to support and accomplish needs. We seek out and attract top talent, utilizing consultative and strategic partnerships both on-site and beyond. We invest time in understanding the business and its talent requirements and introduce our organization to candidates, ensuring a high-quality experience throughout the process.

Your Impact

  • Prescreen candidates and review resumes for suitability based on experience, and position requirements.
  • Utilize our TA technologies (Workday) for managing requisitions, candidate screening, selection, and hiring processes.
  • Participate in selection processes (interviews, assessment centers, job simulations) following market practice.
  • Use online recruiting resources, such as niche job boards, associations, LinkedIn, university career center websites, and ATS to identify top candidates.
  • Manage and communicate with candidates and hiring managers promptly to ensure a quality candidate/client experience.
  • Ensure accurate completion of paperwork for efficient processing of new hires' team member records, including employment screenings.
  • Organize and participate in onsite recruiting activities, onsite hiring events, and career fairs.
  • Manage reporting for your designated site.

What You Bring

  • Degree-level education or equivalent experience in Talent Acquisition.
  • 2+ years of recruiting experience (call center/distribution center preferred).
  • Project management for recruitment initiatives and development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for recruitment processes.
  • Experience fostering a positive and inclusive team culture, promoting employee engagement, and providing leadership and development.
  • Develop recruitment marketing strategies to attract top talent, including managing a relationship with the Recruitment Marketing team as the local subject matter expert.
  • Knowledge of recruiting-based websites, applicant tracking systems, and creative sourcing techniques.
  • Demonstrated negotiation experience, and a willingness to challenge upward if necessary.
