Lab Technician

Job Description
Responsibilities:

• Primary responsibility of supporting the development of solutions for the Coatings Industry.
• The position is working in a chemistry lab.
• Duties include, but are not limited to, mixing chemicals, testing samples, and documentation.

Roles and Responsibilities

• 1 year Laboratory Experience
• Must have basic computer skills and be comfortable with email, MS Word and MS Excel.
• Experience in laboratory activity - performance experiments and familiarity with basic chemical mixing is required.
• Experience in vendor management - ordering materials, cataloging materials
• Basic knowledge of chemical instrumentation required.
• Basic knowledge of chemical compatibility required.
• Basic knowledge of chemical handling and chemical storage required.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
A high School diploma is required with 6 years practical laboratory experience, an Associate's degree with 2 years practical laboratory experience, or a Bachelor's degree in a scientific field.
Requirements:

• 1 year Laboratory Experience
• Previous experience in Paint environment
• Must have basic computer skills and be comfortable with email, MS Word and MS Excel.
• Experience in laboratory activity - performance experiments and familiarity with basic chemical mixing is required.
• Basic knowledge of chemical instrumentation required.
• Basic knowledge of chemical compatibility required.

Basic knowledge of chemical handling and chemical storage required.
Must have a valid driver s license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.
Pay Rate: The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.
Work Schedule : Monday Friday 8: 00 AM 4: 30 PM
