Position Overview: The Head of IT Infrastructure & Security plays a pivotal role in leading and directing a team of skilled IT professionals in managing, strategizing, and implementing our clients IT infrastructure. This encompasses a broad spectrum, including network architecture, internet connectivity, endpoint management, cloud services, and cybersecurity.

Primary and Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and guide a team comprising networking engineers, system cloud administrators, and IT desktop support professionals.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor departmental goals, strategies, and tactics to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Oversee the procurement of IT hardware, software, and services, including vendor management and software licensing.
  • Establish and uphold IT infrastructure standards, policies, and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance.
  • Collaborate closely with business technology partners and operational teams to ensure synergy between infrastructure strategies and corporate objectives.
  • Collaborate with the SVP, IT, to provide leadership and guidance for proactive enterprise infrastructure monitoring, change management, cybersecurity strategy, and capacity planning.

Job Requirements: Experience:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in IT Infrastructure, with at least 2 years focused on cybersecurity.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Public Cloud Computing and proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience with Azure, CISSP, CompTIA Security +, and ITIL certifications.
  • Familiarity with Cloudflare and knowledge of Sitecore Commerce and XP are advantageous.

Education & Certifications:

  • A 4-year degree is preferred.
  • Preferred certifications include CISSP, CompTIA Security +, and ITIL.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Profound understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewalls is essential.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities are required.
  • Familiarity with web technologies and proficiency in Redis is necessary.
  • Experience with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST is required.
  • Proficiency in IT department budgeting and demonstrated ability to drive multiple initiatives and programs are essential.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing tools, ETL, Analytics reporting, middleware, and familiarity with the .Net programming language are preferred.
  • Knowledge of Zendesk Help Desk Software is advantageous.
