Tool and Die Maker

Aegis has 3 openings for Tool & Die Makers. These openings train for 90 days on first shift and then have openings for 2nd and 3rd shift.

• High school diploma or GED
• 2-10+ years of experience as a tool and die maker
• Experience working in a heavy industrial setting
• Tool and die making certification
• Experience operating manual tool room machines- Lathe, Milling, Grinding, Drill presses
• High speed stamping die experience
• Experience working in a high precision production environment
• Math abilities- Trigonometry

• Lamination and carbide experience
• Experience with servicing, maintaining, and repairing carbide lamination tooling
• Lean manufacturing experience
• Mechanical abilities!

• Must be able to walk to work locations 100% of the time
• Must be able to frequency bend, stoop, kneel and reach below/above shoulders to access equipment or repair
• Must be able to lift tools, parts and equipment up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to operate hand and power tools without assistance
