THE ROLE : North America Rental & Service Solutions, a Xylem business, seeks to hire a Sr. Financial Analyst who will be responsible for financial analysis and management necessary for the North American business. The role will actively partner and support Senior Finance Manager and Sales and Operations Leadership team to provide analysis and solutions for the business.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty.

  1. Supports the overall branch forecast and budget process through understanding of market trends, revenue, margins, expenses, projects, investments, headcount, etc. ensuring clear understanding of all variances and critical evaluation of input.
  2. Provide oversight and management of rental project status meetings to ensure accurate forecasting.
  3. Drive business and financial insights into the sales and operations team through data and analytics.
  4. Lead and monitor weekly bottoms up sales forecasting across the branch network and partner with management and manufacturing to understand delays and mitigation plans.
  5. Support overall coordination and execution of branch PL’s and assist management in understanding variances YoY, vs budget, and vs model branch.
  6. Provide weekly status update to senior leadership on financial results and comparisons to latest estimates and forecasts.
  7. Work closely with CI Leadership and provide savings guidance guidelines and present Productivity results to Senior Leadership.
  8. Manage monthly regional business reviews.
  9. Implement standard processes and procedures to ensure data integrity and completeness.
  10. Ad hoc analysis as needed by management.
  11. Manage facility consolidation reviews, run the financial model and present to senior leaders.
  12. Assist with month end close.
Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  2. MBA or Advanced Degree preferred.
  3. CPA or CMA preferred.
  4. Power BI or Tableau experience preferred.
  5. Minimum 3 years related financial work experience.
  6. Minimum 2 years accounting experience.
  7. Proven analytical ability and leadership capabilities.
  8. Demonstrated experience in financial modeling and planning required.
  9. Ability to work on multiple projects and manage priorities simultaneously.
  10. Strong analytical, critical thinking, prioritization, and time management skills.
  11. Ability to work effectively with teams and independently.
  12. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to communicate to non-finance team members.
  13. Expert in Microsoft Office applications, databases, Oracle, and OneStream is preferred.
  14. Ability to travel 20% of the time.

The estimated salary range at this professional level is $95,000 to $115,000 plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
