A World Leading Precision Time & Frequency Technology firm are looking for a Engineering Lab Manager
The firm - is a world leader in the design, development, and manufacture of high-precision timing, frequency control and synchronization products for satellite and terrestrial applications.
The Engineering Lab Manager is required to support the assembly/alignment/testing of RF/Microwave electronic component assemblies starting with PC sub-assemblies to modules to system integration.
Responsibilities:
- Generation of in-process test procedures/data sheets fir PCA's, modules and top-level system testing.
- Design and creation of system interface test fixturing.
- Review of customer performance specifications (EQ spec) and customer supplied documentation:
1. Parts/Material/Process program requirements
2. Top level system test requirements including Thermal Cycling, Thermal Vacuum, Vibration, Shock and EMI testing.
- Generation of engineering required documentation:
1. Discrepant Material Report (DMR)
2. Recovery Test Plans.
- Test support for engineers, technicians, engineering associates:
1. Tools (universal for RF/Microwave assemblies)
2. Technical understanding of typical system designs:
3. Passive designs (power dividers, lowpass/highpass/bandpass filters, crystal filters)
4. Active designs ( Oscillators, amplifiers, multipliers, phase locked loops, mixers, etc.)
- Familiarity with EEE parts selection, including characterization/evaluation, screening, traceability and derating requirements for space applications including radiation.
Education & Required Skills:
- BSEE, 10yrs Engineering background, working Product Lifecycle Management system.
