Contracting Officer Representative, Financial Focus

We are seeking an experienced Contracting Officer Representative (COR) with a strong background in financial analysis to support multiple ongoing contracts. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in monitoring the financial health of contracts, analyzing financial trends, and reviewing invoices and purchase requests. This individual will work closely with various CORs to ensure proper financial oversight and progress tracking across different projects.

About the Role:

Monitor the financial health of contracts and identify potential risks or issues. Analyze financial trend lines, providing insights into cost performance. Review and validate invoices, purchase requests, and other financial documentation. Track incremental progress and ensure financial compliance with contract terms. Support multiple CORs by providing detailed financial analysis and recommendations. Prepare financial reports and briefings for stakeholders. Ensure proper funding allocation and cost control for assigned contracts.

Responsibilities:

  • Proven experience as a Contracting Officer Representative (COR), with a focus on financial analysis.
  • Strong understanding of government contracting, financial management, and compliance.
  • Proficiency in analyzing financial data, including cost reports, invoices, and purchase requests.
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple contracts and support several CORs.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of federal contracting laws, regulations, and procedures.
