Job Description: As a Senior Case Manager, you will be responsible for managing personal injury pre-litigation cases involving severe client injuries and large policy limits. Your expertise will be crucial in handling cases from start to finish, providing excellent client service, and ensuring a smooth process for our clients.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage personal injury pre-litigation cases involving severe client injuries and large policy limits.
  • Handle high call volumes, both incoming and outgoing, providing excellent client service.
  • Work efficiently in a paperless system, utilizing your tech-savviness.
  • Ensure meticulous time management and attention to detail in all tasks.
  • Maintain exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
  • Communicate effectively through both oral and written channels.
  • Operate office equipment such as copiers, scanners, fax machines, and computers.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients.
  • Coordinate medical appointments and handle property damage claims.
  • Monitor case expenses and maintain accurate records for billing purposes.
  • Facilitate clients' medical treatment and ensure regular communication with clients.
  • Discuss claims with adjusters and review insurance coverages.
  • Explain property damage issues to clients.
  • Maintain workflow by ensuring prompt and accurate handling of assigned cases.
  • Provide general support to the handling attorney and COO.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in personal injury pre-litigation, handling severe injuries and large policy limits in a law firm.
  • Previous case management experience, preferably as a personal injury case manager.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Proficient in Google Docs, sheets, etc.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and adaptability to new processes and technology.
  • Ability to work independently as a self-starter.
  • Comfortable managing a high volume of calls and multitasking effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of medical and insurance terminology.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a good sense of humor.
  • A solid work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Experience managing a heavy caseload in the personal injury field.
  • Familiarity with Filevine case management software (preferred, but not required).
  • Strong knowledge of personal injury law and medical terminology, including MRIs, orthopedics, and pain management.
  • Professional demeanor and quick learner.
  • Must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate to Los Angeles, CA before starting work.
