Position: Field Systems Engineer
Industry : Steel Mill Industry / Specialty Metals
Job Type: Full-Time
Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
Experience Required:
  • Industry Experience: Prior experience in the steel mill industry or specialty metals.
  • Programming/Configuration Skills:
    • Proficient in programming and configuring PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, and GE).
    • Experienced with drives (Siemens, ABB, and Allen Bradley).
    • Skilled in HMI packages.
  • Industrial Electrical Experience: Strongly preferred.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel is required.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement control systems for steel mills and specialty metals facilities.
  • Program and configure PLCs, drives, and HMIs to meet operational requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to control systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance and reliability.
  • Conduct fieldwork to install, test, and maintain systems at various client locations.
  • Provide training and support to end-users and maintenance staff.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong technical aptitude and hands-on experience with industrial control systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams effectively.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel to different project sites.
