Responsibilities

As a Technical Project Manager at Arc XP, you will play a crucial role in supporting the growth of the organization by improving the foundation relied on by our teams every day. Your responsibilities will encompass various technical and managerial tasks, including vendor management, enterprise architecture planning, and coordinating admin and support.

Your goal will be to enable teams to focus on their business problems by providing a technology ecosystem that meets their requirements while aligning with organizational business strategy.

  • Establish and run a comprehensive vendor management program, including the tooling and processes needed to:
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements and service level agreements.
  • Evaluate and select new vendors, negotiating contracts, and overseeing the integration of their services.
  • Continuously assess vendor performance, providing recommendations for improvement and optimization.
  • Facilitate continuous enterprise architecture gap assessments and establish roadmaps to prioritize and plan IT initiatives.
  • Identify gaps for improvement and optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategic roadmaps aligning technology initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Drive the implementation of technology solutions to address identified gaps and meet stakeholder requirements.
  • Establish processes and procedures necessary for effective enterprise architecture.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for technology infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to guide informed decision-making.
  • Coordinate admin and support to ensure consistent, effective support across enterprise systems.
  • Implement processes to oversee user support, system maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with support teams to ensure timely resolution of issues and effective end-user support.
  • Foster an environment of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager in a SaaS business handling progressively complex requirements.
  • Strong understanding of IT architecture, infrastructure, and project management methodologies.
  • Good understanding of cloud technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive projects to successful completion.
  • Vendor management experience and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with enterprise IT security and compliance standards.
  • PMP Certification a plus but not required.

The Washington Post includes salary ranges for certain positions to comply with local pay transparency laws. The salary range for this position is:

93,200.00 - 155,300.00 USD Annual

The actual salary within this range will depend on individual skills, experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements. This position may be eligible for a bonus or incentive program, and a member of the Talent Acquisition team will discuss bonus payment terms and conditions during the interview process.
