BDR - PES Cost Specialist Tier 3

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
Cost Specialist
General Description:
Cost specialists are responsible for managing all costs associated with the assigned line of business as well as interfacing with all aspects and personnel of COMPANY requisition to pay process in order to allow the process to be seamless and delay-free.
Roles and Responsibilities:

• Building estimates
• Tracking/Managing Costs
• Managing budgets
• Developing Forecasts
• Creating new reports and templates
• Integrating the scope growth process with the forecast
• Extracting data at the WBS and WO level
• Performing data analysis
• General understanding of COMPANY PURCHASE ORDER process (creation, amending, closing, etc)
• Strong knowledge/mastery in SAP - Experience with Project Builder; WBS, WO, Network creation & closing.
• General understanding of COMPANY Track program - Some level of experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge/mastery in SAP, Excel, and entire Microsoft Suite of programs. Experience with Power platform (i.e., Power Query, Power Pivot, Power Bi, Power Apps) not required but preferred.

Cost Specialist II
Cost Specialist IIs shall have all roles, responsibilities, and qualifications of a Cost Specialist I with additional roles, responsibilities, and qualifications of:

• 3-5 years of experience as a Cost Specialist managing multiple, ongoing, medium to large projects.
• Experience in Capturing data and reporting for EVM analysis - Forecasting using CPI, SPI, AV+RQ, etc.

Cost Specialist III/Senior Cost Specialist
Cost Specialist IIIs shall have all roles, responsibilities, and qualifications of a Cost Specialist II with additional roles, responsibilities, and qualifications of:

• 5+ years of experience as a Cost Specialist managing multiple, ongoing, large projects. Experience with managing large volumes of data - such as using Power Platform (Excel - Power Query, SAP, Power Pivot).

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge/mastery in SAP, Excel, and entire Microsoft Suite of programs. Experience with Power Platform (i.e., Power Query, Power Pivot, Power Bi, Power Apps) not required but preferred.

• Cost specialist Tier 2 - 3-5 years of experience as a Cost Specialist managing multiple, ongoing, medium to large projects.
• Cost specialist Tier 3 - 5+ years of experience as a Cost Specialist managing multiple, ongoing, large projects. Experience with managing large volumes of data - such as using Power Platform (Excel - Power Query, SAP, Power Pivot).
