GENERAL LEDGER ACCOUNTANT SENIOR ANALYST

The GL Senior Analyst is responsible for processing and guiding all assigned General Accounting (GA) transactions from Robert Bosch North America, ensuring they are posted correctly and in compliance with Corporate Policies and IFRS.

Complete and guide daily tasks which include:

  1. Support juniors and experts in low and medium complexity account reconciliations and journal entries.
  2. Perform high complexity account reconciliations.
  3. Calculate and prepare journal entries.
  4. Perform quality reviews on account reconciliations.
  5. Accountable for Standard Activities and Month-end Steps.
  6. Bank Account Reconciliations.
  7. Intercompany Accounting (Prepare monthly and quarterly intercompany billing).
  8. Execute high daily payment transactions, including escalations and contact with local teams.
  9. Perform quality reviews on payment proposals.
  10. Lead, coordinate, and process map internal and external audit requirements.
  11. Provide customer support through general inquiries, new processes, reporting, and documentation.
  12. Attend and contribute to trainings for new hires and juniors/experts on current issues.
  13. Support answering general inquiries from Customers/Stakeholders.
  14. Provide support to global projects through job shadowing, transaction testing, and documenting.
  15. Lead work-plans to meet targets and manage workload balance.
  16. Utilize the Continuous Improvement Philosophy (CIP).
  17. Support the achievement of monthly KPIs.
  18. Coordinate small teams and assist management in workload distribution.
  19. Own the issue log and ensure it is completed properly by all team members, with resolutions communicated to customers.
  20. Work in a team environment, collaborating and using team-based methods and tools.
  21. Identify issues promptly and provide visibility to management with possible solutions.
  22. Implement and improve best practices and processes defined by the company to maintain high standards of quality.
  23. Implement quality controls to ensure standard processes are followed.
  24. Assist peers, interns, associates, juniors, and experts in performing their responsibilities with optimal quality.
  25. Support monthly and yearly financial statements in the respective area.
  26. Back-support Supervisor tasks if necessary, including Regional Process Owner (RPO) calls, Global calls, and Tactical meetings.
  27. Perform other functions related to the position.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Advanced student in accounting or a related field (Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, etc.).
  2. Experience in computer skills including MS Office.
  3. Experience with ERP Systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, etc.) preferred.
  4. 4-5 years of experience in accounting.
  5. Demonstrated expertise in general ledger accounting tasks (reconciliation, journal entries, reporting, month-end close).
  6. Blackline experience is a plus.
  7. Experience in a Shared Service Center preferred.
