What you will do
- oversee the design and development of new products, utilizing Siemens NX 3D/Solids Works CAD solid modeling software.
- perform structural analysis using Ansys Mechanical FEA, conducting Moldflow analysis with Moldex3D software, and ensuring tooling design and procurement.
- provide technical support to the tool shop
- offer manufacturing support, manage automation projects, and offer technical guidance on plastic resins, colors, and additives.
- issue QC spec sheets detailing critical dimensions and tolerances.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience using Siemens NX 3D CAD and Solid Works
- Experienced with Ansys Mechanical FEA for structural analysis
- Knowledge of Moldex3D software for Moldflow analysis
- Ability to handle multiple projects
- Ability to prioritize
