Decarbonization Partners is the joint venture (JV) between BlackRock and Temasek, a Singaporean investment platform and sovereign wealth fund. Decarbonization Partners invests in late-stage venture capital and early-stage growth equity of private companies whose activities and technology support the acceleration of decarbonization and the transition to a net zero economy. Job Purpose

Decarbonization Partners is searching for a dynamic and enthusiastic Administrative Business Coordinator to join the San Francisco team. The ideal candidate is a top-tier professional who has deep experience supporting senior management with global responsibilities in a fast-paced global financial services firm. The candidate should be a team player, extremely motivated, proactive, resourceful, organized, communicative, and able to leverage the managers' time by completing tasks independently with strong attention to detail.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support multiple senior investment professionals and junior team members.
  • Handle a range of duties from day-to-day office-wide operational activities to managing relationships, scheduling meetings, and correspondence with senior leaders and their assistants, on behalf of Decarbonization Partners senior leaders and the broader core team.
  • Proactive daily calendar management within Microsoft Outlook.
  • Plan, coordinate, and lead special projects and events with global and local business leadership.
  • Meet and greet visitors and clients, coordinating conference rooms, catering and logistical arrangements.
  • Coordinate and plan travel including airline reservations, hotel accommodations, car service arrangements and directions as needed.
  • Process and track invoices, expense reports, and reimbursements.
  • Understand BlackRock Policies and Procedures and implement them in daily tasks.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, multitask and interact with senior management and their support staff.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Minimum five years of relevant corporate administrative experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong time management skills: ability to handle multiple concurrent assignments, with a high degree of accuracy, and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent phone manner and management is a key requirement.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a collaborative team, and assume additional responsibilities as required.

For California only the salary range for this position is $65,000 - $110,000 which is the equivalent of $31.25 - $52.88 per hour. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including health care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits.

Our hybrid work model

BlackRock’s hybrid work model is designed to enable a culture of collaboration and apprenticeship that enriches the experience of our employees, while supporting flexibility for all. Employees are currently required to work at least 4 days in the office per week, with the flexibility to work from home 1 day a week. Some business groups may require more time in the office due to their roles and responsibilities.
