Position Overview:

The Senior Director of Supply Chain Management Solutions is responsible for all of CJ Logistics’ WMS platforms. The Sr. Director is responsible for strategic leadership of multiple WMSs, their performance and 3-year development roadmap. The role will continually assess CJ Logistics’ WMS offerings based on existing performance, developing business needs, and customer needs to provide WMS solution technologies to fill the gap. The Senior Director will also manage WMS contracts and WMS budgets. The role will frequently collaborate and provide updates to the executive team members, operational leaders, and IT leaders on various aspects of all WMS initiatives.

Pay Range: $215 - $220K

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership direction to all WMS teams, currently 4 teams, on new customer implementations, WMS implementations, TES projects, and system enhancements.
  • Design and source new WMS solution for CJ Logistics to replace existing WMS solutions.
  • Manage 5-year new WMS project to include piloting new WMS, engaging customers on conversion, and executing implementations, all on time and in budget.
  • Responsible for securing talent for the new WMS organization.
  • Coaches WMS Sr Managers and Directors to create a positive, growth mindset environment for their teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to set goals and critical success factors and define metrics to measure success.
  • Creates synergies across WMS platforms by driving best practices from each WMS and creating cross WMS learning opportunities.
  • Responsible for maintaining SOX compliance and audit documentation for WMS IT activities.
  • Lead communications around all WMS, including weekly executive team updates and project team updates.
  • Maintain financial reporting to track expenses and benefits to align with budgets and financial commitments.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Logistics. MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of large project management experience, managing a team of directs and indirects, IT WMS or ERP experience.
  • 5+ years Supply Chain logistics experience.
  • Strong ability to manage through change.
  • Must be open to travel with the ability to travel 20%-25%.
  • Strong leadership capabilities and ability to be a key liaison between internal/external stakeholders.
  • Strong decision-making ability.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation.
  • Collaborative, innovative, and have a proven track record of large-scale cross-functional projects.
  • Have advanced knowledge of WMS functionality and configurations including but not limited to picking, packing, shipping, receiving and transportation, and inventory management.
