Software Engineer III
Location: Alexandria, VA – Full-Time, Onsite, Potential for Remote

Job Description:
The ideal candidate is responsible for independently executing software design and development tasks, capable of leading and working as part of an agile team to design, implement and revise software applications. Responsibilities include writing sleek, performant code, collaborating with clients and stakeholders, mentoring junior staff, and performing other related duties as required.
This position requires prior experience working with:
- MOSA, web protocols and APIs (e.g., REST, HTTPS)
- Interoperability standards and specifications (e.g., SCORM, xAPI, cmi5)
- Cloud server configuration and server stacks (e.g., LAMP)
- Containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Web security and identity (e.g., SSL certificates, OAuth, Keycloak)
- Web development languages (e.g., NodeJS, Python, JSON)
- Mobile development (e.g., iOS, Android, React, Angular)
- Linked data (e.g. JSON-LD)
- Semantic markup (Resource Description Framework, Web Ontology Language)
- Modern software development processes (e.g., GitHub, DevOps)
Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related field.
- At least seven (7) years of post-college full-time experience developing software.
- At least three (3) years of experience working on Federal Government software development team.
