This role is responsible for day-to-day underwriting and high-level agency management support of agents within defined territory. Underwriting authority assigned for commercial and contract surety products involving more complex risks and analysis. You will report to a manager, bond sales and service. Join us today!

Position Compensation Range:

$67,000.00 - $111,000.00

Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates.

Primary Accountabilities
*Responsible for day-to-day underwriting and high-level agency management support of agents within defined territory. Underwriting authority is based upon products involving more complex risks and analysis.
*Work as part of an overall team to supports the achievement of annual business plan for assigned key agencies and maintain and nurture existing agency relationships to ensure a strong, growing, profitable partnership and achieve expected premium production.
*Meet and maintain service level commitment to both internal and external customers.
*Analyze financial information, credit reports, contracts, statutes, bond forms, etc. and applies the appropriate use of individual discretionary underwriting authority, while adhering to company and department mandated underwriting guidelines and submission processes, to drive profitable bond growth.
*Train and provide on-going support to agents.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements
*Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service.
*Demonstrated experience underwriting bonds.
*Extensive knowledge of bond contracts.
*Demonstrated experience analyzing credit and financial information.

Additional Preferred Specialized Knowledge & Skills

*Commercial Surety Experience required.
