Metrics LLC is seeking a highly skilled Management Analyst as we compete for an opportunity to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Operations Security and Preparedness (OSP). This on-site position is based in Washington, DC. This project involves leading modernization efforts in business processes and systems that enhance VA’s mission-critical operations. The Management Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and improving organizational processes, ensuring that the VA’s operational objectives are met effectively and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough analyses of VA operations and processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Collaborating with VA stakeholders to gather data, assess current practices, and evaluate the effectiveness of operational programs.
- Developing and implementing strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of organizational processes.
- Supporting the design and execution of studies to assess organizational performance and develop actionable recommendations based on findings.
- Facilitating workshops, meetings, and focus groups to engage stakeholders and gather insights for process improvement initiatives.
- Preparing comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and progress updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Assisting in the development and maintenance of performance metrics and dashboards to monitor organizational effectiveness.
- Conducting research on best practices and trends in management analysis to support the VA’s continuous improvement efforts.
- Ensuring compliance with federal regulations and VA policies throughout all analysis and improvement initiatives.
- Supporting project management activities as needed, including documentation, scheduling, and tracking project progress.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of Emergency Management Operations and Preparedness.
- Knowledge of Security and Law Enforcement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in conducting data analyses and performance evaluations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
- Proven experience in project management and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with government operations and regulations is preferred.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or similar tools).
- Must be eligible for a security clearance (current TS/SCI clearance preferred).
