Healthcare Management Solutions, LLC - Senior Software Engineer - Fairmont, West Virginia
Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of the organization. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, mentoring junior engineers, and contributing to the overall technical and security strategy of the organization. This position is available for remote, on-site (Fairmont, WV), or a combination of the two, offering flexibility to suit the candidate's preferences.
Responsibilities:
- Design, code, test, and deploy software applications, ensuring they meet performance, security, and scalability requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative development environment.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing effective solutions to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for software designs, code, and system configurations.
- Perform data analysis to support decision-making processes, identify trends, and improve software performance and user experience.
- Modify and maintain existing software applications.
- Collaborate with the CTO and other stakeholders to define and implement software architecture and design patterns.
- Collaborate with the CTO to develop and implement IT strategies that support the organization's objectives.
- Plan and execute IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality and compliance standards.
- Ensure the organization's IT systems are secure and comply with relevant regulations and standards.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends, recommending and implementing innovative solutions to improve business processes.
- Other duties as assigned.
