Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Process Controls System Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and optimization of process control systems, ensuring seamless operations in our industrial environment.


Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain process control systems, including Distributed Control Systems (DCS) & Allen Bradley PLCs or equivalent hardware.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define control strategies and ensure alignment with process requirements.

• Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to production.

• Conduct system testing, validation, and commissioning to ensure reliable performance of control systems.

• Monitor and analyze system performance data to identify opportunities for optimization & improvement.

• Provide technical support & training to operations personnel on process control systems.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards & safety regulations throughout all projects and processes.

• Stay current with advancements in control technologies & best practices, integrating them into the existing systems as appropriate.

• Document control system architecture, configuration, & operational procedures.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant Engineering field or Computer Science.

• Proven experience with DCS and Allen Bradley PLCs or equivalent hardware systems.

• Experience in industrial controls and continuous process environments.

• Strong understanding of control theory and process automation principles.

• Proficient in programming languages relevant to control systems (e.g., ladder logic, structured text).

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team setting.

• Familiarity with safety and regulatory compliance standards in the chemical manufacturing industry is a plus
