Position Summary:
EAHS is seeking a compassionate and organized Housing Coordinator to join our team. The Housing Coordinator will be responsible for managing housing programs, assisting clients with their housing needs, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a passion for helping others, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. We are willing to train the right candidate for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients in finding and securing suitable housing options based on their needs and preferences.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with landlords, property managers, and housing agencies.
- Conduct comprehensive client assessments to determine housing eligibility and needs.
- Provide clients with information and guidance on housing programs, policies, and available resources.
- Coordinate and manage housing placements, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
- Ensure compliance with housing regulations, program requirements, and funding guidelines.
- Maintain detailed and organized client records, including case notes, housing applications, and follow-up documentation.
- Facilitate communication between clients, landlords, and service providers to resolve issues and ensure successful housing placements.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to ensure housing stability and address any ongoing needs.
- Participate in community outreach and education efforts to promote EAHS's housing programs and services.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to enhance service delivery and program outcomes.
- Assist with the preparation of reports and data analysis for program evaluation and improvement.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in case management, community support, or mental health services is preferred.
- Strong understanding of housing programs, policies, and regulations.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with database management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
