Position Overview
The Senior Project Developer is responsible for the development, planning and execution of commercial and community solar projects from origination to NTP. You will also be supporting budgets, interconnection studies, permitting, and site negotiation. Reporting directly to the senior leadership team, you will have the opportunity to lead successful project execution and play a pivotal role in the business strategy.
Responsibilities
- Support development activities of solar projects from site control to construction
- Collaborate with internal teams in origination, real estate and title, interconnection, engineering, survey, environmental, offtake, policy
- Establish and manage relationships with stakeholders, including elected officials, regulators, utilities, and RTOs to support project development
- Achieve development milestones on time and on budget for portfolio to successfully reach financing and construction
Qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience working on solar projects
- Prior experience with all aspects of solar development projects from site identification to NTP
- Strong financial analysis skills and experience in financial modelling
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage relationships with customers, landowners, stakeholders, and local authorities
