Job Summary:

The client are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Employment Defense Attorney to join their Los Angeles office. This position offers a hybrid work schedule , combining both in-office and remote work. The successful candidate will be responsible for defending employers in various employment-related disputes, advising clients on employment law compliance, and representing them in litigation, administrative hearings, and arbitration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent employers in state and federal court in employment-related litigation, including wage and hour disputes, wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims.
• Provide counsel on employment law matters, including compliance with labor laws, employee handbooks, policies, and workplace investigations.
• Manage all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Advocate for clients in administrative proceedings before government agencies (e.g., EEOC, DFEH, DLSE, NLRB).

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the California State Bar.
• 1+ years of experience in employment law litigation, preferably on the defense side.
