About the role

Sales Operations is a key area for Pearson Education Inc. and our Sales Operations Associate is an essential role within our organization, responsible for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales team in a variety of ways including pipeline management, data integrity, and sales support for Career and College Readiness business. The role works directly with Sales and Sales Management, Customer Service, and other internal departments increasing the efficiency of the sales team. To succeed in this role, you will have strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Provide daily support to the sales team including but not limited to: pipeline review, quote creation, order validation, OneCRM reports, etc.
  2. Salesforce.com data integrity management.
  3. Maintain contract and pricing repository.
  4. Develop and optimize standard sales readiness and productivity processes and programs (e.g. sales training and enablement, knowledge sharing, proposal support, etc.) with key stakeholders and functional teams.
  5. Develop a strong understanding of products and offerings to ensure correct products and pricing are sold.
  6. Leverage outcomes of the Go To Market process to drive improvements in overall effectiveness of all functions that bring our solutions to market, including Sales, Marketing, Services, Customer Support, etc.

Contract: Regular full-time position working 40 hours per week

Compensation: The full-time salary is $65,000 - $95,000 dependent on experience.

What we are looking for:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Marketing or Communications or equivalent required.
  2. Demonstrable sales operations or sales support experience.
  3. Experience working with salesforce.com or similar platform.
  4. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  6. Self-motivated to meet deadlines independently.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Professional (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
  8. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and leadership.
  9. Knowledge of education (K-12 public/private/charter schools).
  10. Adaptability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  11. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
