Competitive pay $70,000. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
Eligible to receive Variable Compensation Component (VC), commission and bonus plan.

Job Summary:
The Regional Sales Manager sells products by maintaining and expanding customer base, working with internal sales team, and external independent sales network. This position will be located in Chicago or surrounding territories and is responsible for sales growth for the Northcentral region.
- Plans and directs all aspects of the organization’s sales, policies, objectives, goals and initiatives within the assigned sales territory. Reports to the VP of US Sales helping to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and maximum profitability for the Region.
- Achieves regional sales objectives by contributing regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews, resolving problems, identifying trends, determining regional sales system improvements, and implementing change.
- Establishes sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota in support of regional objectives.
- Maintains and expands customer base by counseling internal sales team and independent sales representatives, building and maintaining rapport with key customers, and identifying new customer opportunities.
- Meets and/or exceeds sales goals.
- Maintains positive and professional morale and communication amongst team and other members of the staff and external relations. Promotes discipline and teamwork.
- Negotiate with hospital administration and decision makers.
- Traveling to assigned territories to promote and sell products at least 50% of the work week.
- Assist VP of US Sales with recruiting, hiring and performance management of independent sales representatives and sales team.
- Must follow company policy on corporate credit cards and timely reporting of expenses.
- Follow Company policy and procedures, ALARA, quality and compliance best practices and expectations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or other closely related business field preferred, or at least 3 years of related work experience required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 years of Sales experience required. Preferred experience in medical devices field background with a documented successful sales track record.
- Proven experience in sales management or relevant senior sales role or experience in measuring and analyzing performance indicators.
- Performance Management.
- Ability to handle a challenging work environment with a positive attitude and effectively communicate with all levels of management and positions both externally with Customers and internally with employees.
- Must maintain a clean driving record.
- Excellent sales and customer service skills with a proven ability to explain technical products to non-technical audiences.

Working Conditions:
- Continuous training to stay on top of industry trends, product development, regulatory requirements, etc.
- Position may require work in an active surgery environment. Employees must be able to handle blood and the surgical atmosphere.
- Must be able to satisfy and maintain vendor credentialing requirements, i.e. up to date on immunizations and vaccines, criminal background, training certifications, etc.
- Must be able to maintain a clean driving record as driving is considered an essential part of the job.
- Traveling for extended periods of time, sitting for extending periods of time, be able to work from home.
- May require PPE and periodic exposure to low dose radiation.
