Software Engineer (Backend - Secret or TS Clearance) with Security Clearance

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer to develop ground satellite operations software for our client in Los Angeles, CA. This is a Remote position. The candidate will collaborate with satellite operators and other software engineers to understand requirements, implement new features, and troubleshoot issues. This position is for a self-starter who has initiative and wants to build something awesome!

Technical Requirements:

1. Proficiency in Python, GraphQL, Kubernetes, and Terraform (or relevant IaC tools)
2. Strong knowledge of containerized applications and serverless architecture
3. Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, EKS, CloudWatch, S3, EFS/EBS, EC2, and RDS
4. Familiarity with containerized software deployment within Kubernetes clusters
5. Strong knowledge of designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting APIs services, distributed NoSQL and relational databases, caching systems, event-driven and multi-tier architectures
6. Strong knowledge of task automation and CI/CD pipeline building, preferably with GitHub actions but not required
7. Familiarity with Git and GitHub or similar framework for version control

Requirements Include:

1. 3+ Years of relevant experience
2. Active Secret or Top Secret Clearance
3. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or alike field

Compensation Includes:

1. $140,000 - $180,000 *Depending on Experience*
