Job Description

Role:

We are seeking an experienced Event Management Software Engineer to join our fast-paced, groundbreaking Digital Experience Platform Organization (DXP). The role requires knowledge of digital event management platforms and familiarity with CMS systems.

The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of Event Management Software (ideally RainFocus and/or ON24) as the event management platform that interfaces with other marketing systems like Marketo, Adobe Experience Platform, AEM or other CMS systems.

What you get to do in this role:

  • Be responsible for implementing the workflows and APIs for digital and in-person events.
  • Work directly with strategic events teams on event planning, providing strategic and tactical recommendations on event management, virtual/in-person experiences and driving personalized journeys.
  • Collaborate with other channel leads (Marketo, AEP) on cross-channel integration to ensure that event registrations result in successful lead capture in CRM systems.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5 - 8 years of experience implementing workflows and APIs on event management platforms.
  • Knowledge of event management platforms, such as RainFocus, ON24, Cvent, Eventbrite, or similar required
  • Hands-on development experience with Java, JavaScript, or similar required.
  • Strong quantitative background. Highly proficient with Excel and in data analysis
  • Solid understanding of event management software APIs, widgets, and workflows.
  • Familiarity with AEM or other content management systems in the “events” ecosystem.
  • Excellent attention to detail and exceedingly organized.
  • High capacity for problem solving and passion for learning and rolling out new technologies.
  • Comfortable with business analytics and producing data-driven insights and reporting.
