Platform System Engineer- 100% Remote/2nd shift

Optomi, in partnership with a major client, is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join their team. This person will help to create a reliable and secure platform for various applications to run on. This will include infrastructure design, implementation, and support.

Responsibilities:

• Perform Windows server administration- troubleshooting, patching, Active Directory, certificates, PowerShell, etc.
• Help to virtualize an environment with VMWare and vRealize Suite and also other solutions such as Nutanix
• Set up Virtual Machines in Azure and automate processes with Power Shell
• Enable various storage solutions including NetApp, Pure Storage, Flash Array, etc.
• Utilize Kubernetes for containerization

• Experience creating scripts to help automate various processes-- any Kubernetes experience is a plus
