About the role

As an Elders State Rural Products Specialist, you will play a key role in implementing the National Rural Products strategy across the Elders Branch Network. You will provide operational expertise and guidance to branch teams, helping them achieve their financial growth targets in retail. Your specialist knowledge may cover various areas of Rural Product inputs; however, this role will see you play to your strengths and knowledge within Broadacre cropping. Responsibilities

  • Support the forecasting and planning activities within the network to enhance the S&OP process.
  • Drive initiatives and campaigns across all product divisions related to cropping, ensuring alignment with branch objectives.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to implement targeted Rural Product planning where specific needs are identified.
  • Deliver comprehensive training on priority Rural Products, utilizing appropriate expertise to enhance team knowledge.
  • Monitor product logistics, ensuring compliance with processes and best practices to maximize operational efficiency.

About you

  • Background in agriculture with a deep understanding of product logistics and supply chain management.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing, pricing strategies, and product ranging to drive sales effectively.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral, with a knack for engaging diverse audiences.
  • Proven administrative and organizational skills, with a problem-solving mindset to navigate challenges.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and capable of utilizing technology for reporting and analysis.
  • Relevant degree in business or agriculture (desired) and a valid driver’s license.
