Apex is seeking a highly motivated Accountant to assist in the categorization of expenses and revenue, managing accounts payable and receivable, supporting the month-end close process, and helping to implement systems and processes that will support Apex as we continue to grow. You'll have the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast and high-growth environment.
Responsibilities:- Manage the accounts payable and receivable, ensuring proper tags and timely payments
- Support the month-end close process.
- Support preparation of the monthly reporting package and other executive dashboards.
- Prepare documents supporting internal and external audits and ensure the successful completion of those audits.
- Support the implementation of new systems, tools, and processes to support the growth of the Company.
- Develop, maintain, and improve internal controls which relate to assigned areas.
- U.S. Persons status is required as this position needs to access export-controlled data
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA or equivalent required.
- 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience; Big 4 and/or aerospace.
- Hardware industry experience is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SOX.
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process is strongly preferred.
- Experience with financial audit preparation is strongly preferred.
- Proven proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, etc); must be highly proficient in Excel.
- Proven proficiency with NetSuite.
- Excellent writing, oral communication, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills with a high attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving skills; project management experience a plus, ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
